Florida State University Webmaster Certification Online
The Florida State University Center for Professional Development has been training and certifying webmasters since 1996.
They have just updated their curriculum to reflect the very latest and emerging technologies in the industry. Their instructors are certified and experienced Webmasters.
Becoming a FSU Certified Webmaster
To become a Florida State University Webmaster, you first must complete the 5 core courses below, and later on, you must complete a final project.
- Web Site Structure with XHTML (Extensible HyperText Markup Language);
- Web Site Layout with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets);
- Web Architecture (Web Accessibility Initiative Guidelines, US Section 508, Color Theory & Intelligent Project Architecture Techniques);
- Web Documents Editing with Microsoft Frontpage or Macromedia Dreamweaver;
- Graphic Design with Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
Final Project & FSU Certification Board
After completing the 5 core courses above, you must complete a final project that will be reviewed by the Florida State University Webmaster Certification Board.
Completion of the FSU Webmaster Certification Course
Upon successful completion of the 5 core courses and the final project, you will receive your official FSU Webmaster Certification Online.
