Our Chief Executive & Consultant Curriculum Vitae
John Britsios was born on 19 August 1962 in York (Pennsylvania/USA), and holds both US and Greek-citizenship.
He is a qualified Web Architect & SEO Consultant (Accessibility & SEO Consultant, Usability Specialist, and Trainer).
John is also the founder, proprietor and Chief Consultant of our company, our English speakers' Academy and our Web Accessibility, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Usability Discussion Forums.
In 2001, he graduated from the German Academy Brueschke in Bielefeld as a Specialist for Multimedia Office Communication.
The same year, John graduated from the Academy of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bielefeld as a Web Project Manager (IHK).
Additionally, in 2003 he passed an exam at Brainbench.com in Web Design Concepts. Also, in 2003 he passed his test at Brainbench.com as a Master Web Designer for Accessibility.
In the same year, John completed an online course of study at Carleton University, Sprott School of Business in Usability Testing.
In the year 2004, he completed an online course of study at the Florida State University and was approved for the Florida State University Webmaster Certification.
He also holds a some of other IT letters of completion:
- Academy Now letter of completion on On-line Marketing;
- Academy Now letter of completion in Web Design and Usability Techniques.
John was employed at Lycos Europe Inc. in various positions for two years:
- 04.2001 - 07.2001 Intranet Webmaster;
- 07.2001 - 03.2002 Ad Format Specialist;
- 07.2001 - 03.2002 Trainer for Web Design for Accessibility;
- 03.2002 - 04.2003 Tester, leading the usability tests for the Web Development.
He also hold's membership with the following professional organizations:
- The Guild of Accessible Designers;
- German Chapter of the Usability Professionals Association;
- Web Standards Group.
At the moment he is, besides his other work, moderator of our own Webnauts Net Forum. Apart from this he moderates the accessibility, usability, web architecture and validation categories of the following forums:
- SEO Workers Search Engine, Social Media Optimization & Marketing.
- Web Development Community - Gatekeepers of the future;
- HTML Center - Discussions Forums;
